Baras, Rizal Ordains Use of Traze Contact Tracing

The Municipality of Baras, Rizal released Ordinance No. 13, S. 2021 prescribing the use of Traze Contact Tracing App within the municipality on May 7, 2021.

Business establishments like the municipal building, shopping malls, Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations (TODAs), and carpools, customers, and clients are required to download Traze and register an account. They will be provided with their own unique QR Code. The use of pen and paper for contact tracing is prohibited. Through a virtual meeting, Traze President Jack Federizo and Baras Mayor Katherine Robles first signed a Memorandum of Agreement last Jan. 20, 2021.
